We are now welcoming submission for the second edition of our print magazine. 
Submissions exploring the Western Himalayas are open under the following categories: 
Original Short Stories or Folktales rooted in cultural beliefs, myths, and oral traditions.
Poetry
Articles and Essays (Reflective or analytical pieces)
Personal Narratives (Biographical essays, flash memoirs and events)
Visual Stories (Photo essays, artwork, and illustrated narratives that tell a compelling story of the region)

Word Count and Format
Submit text in Word (.doc/.docx) or PDF format.
Ensure a brief bio of the author (not exceeding 100 words) is included.
Written submissions should not exceed 2000 words.
We accept submissions in Hindi and English and encourage translated works, especially those that bring unique regional perspectives to a wider audience.

Visual Story Submissions
Submit up to 6-8 high-resolution images in JPEG, JPG or PNG format.
Include a title or brief caption for each work (Not more than 50 words), which is attached separately in an MS Word or PDF format.

In the same document include the artist's statement and the context within which your work emerges. (up to 500 words)
Submissions should align with the magazine’s themes.

Submit your work at connect@zedtells.com with the subject line - Submission for Kacha volume 2 or use the submission form below.
Attach your work as a file (do not paste it in the email body).

Additional Notes
The final publishing decision will depend on the selection process. We may contact you to talk further about final publishing.
Multiple Submissions are allowed.
Previously published work is acceptable if adapted to fit our requirements and includes a reference or link to the original publication.
All submissions must be original, and any form of plagiarism will lead to immediate disqualification. Proper acknowledgement is required if your work includes references to others' ideas or expressions.
While we value every piece, submission does not guarantee publication.
